Cancellation Policy
A 50% deposit to secure your place is due upon booking. The remaining amount is paid 24 hours prior to excursion. Once the trip is confirmed by World Alpine Expeditions, the cancellation policy stated below applies: 1. Day Hikes are available as scheduled and can be booked same day if there is space available. Group size limit for hikes are limited to 8 people. For larger groups inquire via email at info@worldalpineexpeditions.com or call office at 628.288.9977. 2. Day Hikes require 100% payment at time of booking for each participant. 3. Cancelation policy: Day Hikes can cancel 72 hours before scheduled tour. A 20% cancellation fee will be enforced due to the inability to rebook. If a participant cannot make the hike they can substitute another hiker at no additional charge to take their place. If a participant cancels with 72 hours notice before scheduled hike and wishes to re-schedule hike for a different day the client will not be charged a cancellation fee. However, the rescheduled hike will be of equal or lesser value with no refunds on lesser priced excursions. Cancellations within 72 hours will not be refunded and client will lose 100% of payment of services. You may be able to recover your charges if you have trip insurance for your current vacation. 4. Multi-Day Treks/Camping (3-Day max) are required to pay a deposit of 50% at time of booking. Full payment is due 30 days prior to excursion. Multi-Day Trekkers can cancel 14 Day before scheduled tour. A 25% cancellation fee will be enforced due to the potential inability to rebook. If a participant cannot make the trip they can substitute another trekker at no additional charge to take their place. If a participant cancels with 14 days notice before scheduled hike and wishes to re-schedule trip for another scheduled trek, the client will not be charged a cancellation fee. However, the rescheduled trek will be of equal or lesser value with no refunds on lesser priced excursions. Cancellations within 14 Days will not be refunded and client will lose 100% of payment of services. We highle encourage Trip Insurance for all of our clients.
