KING OF THE KASILOF SALMON TOUR
JUNE 2-8, 2024

We love to ski but when we have a pause in the snowpack we love breaking out the Rods! Join us on our first of two summer Salmon trips to the Land of the Midnight Sun!

This tour is limited to a group size of 6. Your private trip to the Kenai Peninsula will include 3 days of Drift Boat, King Salmon fishing on the Kalisof River, 1 day of Halibut fishing capped off by a fly-in trip to fish Sockeye with the local Grizzlies (we promise to keep you separated)

Here is the schedule for the weekend....

June 3:

7:00am - Rise to a hearty Alaska Expedition breakfast after a great night's rest in our private accommodations

8:00am - Meet our Captain for our first float down the Kasilof in search of trophy Kings. Our day will be spent on the water with our guide as we seek to fill our limits. Lunch will be on the water.

Afternoon - We will return to our residence for a post fishing celebration and prepare for a restful night in with and extraordinary meal to enjoy before settling in for the night.

June 4:

8:00am - After another hearty breakfast we will travel to the Cook Inlet for a day on the Halibut Trail. Cook Inlet Halibut are famous for being the largest Halibut (sometimes breaking 100 lb.s). Our captain will put us on the best possible fishing grounds at the best time of the season for this Alaskan delicacy. Lunch will be on the boat for a full day of fishing.

Afternoon - Back to the homestead for a little pre-dinner happy hour.

Dinner Time - This evening we will venture out to the big city of Soldotna for a local dinner with post meal entertainment.

June 5 - 6:

Back on the Kasiloff for two more days of drift fishing for Kings.

Evening meals will be prepared by our resident Guide and Chef, Paul Tollefson. Each night will feature great food and beverages to challenge the Wolfgang Pucks of the Adventure Tour Business.

June 7:

6:00am wake-up - Another great breakfast to prepare you for your fly-out to seek your limit of Sockeye. Our secret location is loaded with great fishing and a chance to even see a Grizzly or two while on location. Sockeye season is just starting to heat up around this date. Our pilot has a good read on where the action is so get ready to reel them in!

Lunch on the river.

Afternoon - We will spend the last afternoon preparing to get your fish home to you, celebrating an afternoon happy hour at the local brewing company and preparing for our departure on Saturday morning.

7:30 - Our farewell meal prepared by Paul and an in home viewing of your own Adventure Movie filmed on location by your World Alpine Expeditions Team. When we say "write your own adventure story", we mean it!

June 8:

8:00am - Your last hearty Alaskan breakfast before our drive back to Anchorage. Our trip back to the airport will allow for later flights back to the lower 48.
